Nicky Whelan stars in two upcoming big screen features; Inconceivable, starring opposite Nicholas Cage and Faye Dunaway, and Tragedy Girls, with Josh Hutcherson and Craig Robinson. She recently starred in the Netflix thriller Rebirth, as well as in the Robert Rodriguez series “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.” Other film credits include the Farrelly Brothers’ Hall Pass, The Wedding Ringer, Left Behind and Knight of Cups.
Whelan’s television credits include “House of Lies,” “Entourage,” “Friends with Benefits,” “Workaholics,” “The League,” “Franklin & Bash,” Satisfaction” and, notably, as Pepper Steiger on the renowned “Neighbours.” She is also currently seen opposite George Clooney in a series of Nespresso commercials.
A native of Victoria, Australia, Nicky trained as a classical and jazz dancer at the Dance Factory before emerging as a multimedia star. She was the face of racing for eight years on live Australian television, hosted programs for women’s health and for adventure sports, and was voted sports model of the year for three years running. A former cheerleader and commentator for K-1 kickboxing, Nicky is a huge fan of MMS and pro boxing. She lives in Los Angeles with her French bulldog, Yoda, and her husband, former NFL player, actor and producer Kerry Rhodes.
