Torrey began violin lessons at age six and was in the fourth grade when she earned her place as the fourth chair violinist in a New York high school orchestra. For 28 years, her father held the coveted position of playing drums for music legend Billy Joel on numerous multi-platinum albums and in concert on stages around the world.

She is known for her chilling recurring role as Carrie on the CW drama series “One Tree Hill.” Torrey and her "One Tree Hill" co-star Chad Michael Murray reunited for Hallmark Channel's 2019 Christmas movie, Write Before Christmas. Not only a gifted actor, you can hear Torrey playing the violin on Raphael Saadig’s 2004 album Ray Ray and on Stevie Nicks’ 2011 album In Your Dreams. When she’s not acting or playing music, Torrey devotes much of her time to philanthropic pursuits.
