Christina Milian is a budding multi-media mogul with enterprises in music, fashion, television, and film. Born in New Jersey and raised in Waldorf, Maryland, Milian – who is of Cuban descent – knew show business was for her immediately. At a young age, Milian became a junior journalist on the Disney Channel's “Movie Surfers.” Before igniting her musical journey, she appeared as a guest on several TV shows, such as “Clueless,” “Sister, Sister,” “Smart Guy,” “Charmed” and “The Steve Harvey Show,” and as a recurring character on “Get Real.”

Milian’s first lead role was in the 2003 film "Love Don’t Cost a Thing" and then she went right into "Be Cool" opposite John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Vince Vaughn with F. Gary Gray directing. Milian had a fun role in "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" opposite Matthew McConaughey and starred as the lead role in the film "Bring It On: Fight to the Finish." She starred in the holiday movies "Snowglobe" and "The Christmas Cupid." Milian is also the voice of Esther on Fox’s hit animated series, “Family Guy.” On the unscripted side, she served as a co-host on the first few seasons of NBC’s “The Voice” and starred in the reality series “Christina Milian Turned Up” on E! Most recently, Milian starred on the Fox comedy series, “Grandfathered” opposite John Stamos and Josh Peck. She was a lead in the in the Kenny Ortega-directed TV event, “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” also for Fox. This past summer, she was added as a series regular to season two of Sony/Crackle’s “The Oath” opposite Ryan Kwanten and Katrina Law. Milian will also recur on the new Netflix series “Mixtape” starring Jenna Dewan and she just wrapped an arc on the YouTube Red series “High & Tight” opposite Danny Pudi.

Milian’s musical career began when she signed to Island/Def Jam/UMG at the age of 18 and was quickly selected to sing the hook on Ja Rule’s No. 1 hit single, “Between Me and You.” The enormous success of the song introduced her to the mainstream music world and gave her commercial success. She then co-wrote the Jennifer Lopez hit “Play” and Paula DeAnda’s popular “Walk Away,” and she was one of the co-writers of Justin Bieber’s smash “Baby.” Her self-titled debut, “Christina Milian,” produced the hit “AM to PM” which was her break out into pop culture. Several of Milian’s singles charted in top five in the United States and internationally. Milian’s “It's About Time,” released on Island/Def Jam/UMG, featured the mega-hit “Dip it Low” for which she was twice nominated for Grammy awards.

She resides in Los Angeles with her daughter Violet.
