"Based on the books by Robin Jones Gunn, Marrying Father Christmas is third in the series of the beloved Father Christmas movies.
Here we find Miranda Chester has happily relocated to the northeast where she has established her interior design business. She splits her time between Boston and Carlton Heath, a picturesque Vermont town, where her fiancé Ian McCendrick lives. Miranda and Ian are getting married on Christmas to celebrate this special day when they first met and fell in love – all while she was searching for her family who turned out to be the Whitcombs.
Wedding details are coming together despite Margaret who keeps inviting more guests and is pushing for a larger venue than Rose Cottage (where Miranda and Ian would like to be wed). Margaret is also distracted by an old friend, Thomas Reid, who starts to court her.
Weddings can be stressful but for Miranda, it's the sudden appearance of Charles Finley that begins to distract her. He has sought her out claiming to be her uncle. Certain that he is another publicity seeking imposter, she sends him away. But when a package arrives with photos of her mother as a child, she realizes she may have made a mistake. With Ian's support, she welcomes him into the fold as all convene for the magical winter wonderland Christmas wedding where each recites the vows they wrote as the wedding sleigh with the Just Married sign awaits to sweep them away to their happy future.
