Wyatt Nash : Ryan

Independent, gracious, handsome, and adventurous are all ways that Wyatt Nash could be described. As a star on the rise, Wyatt can next be seen starring as ‘Ryan’ in The Hallmark Channel’s adaptation of “The Bridge.” “The Bridge,” the television adaptation of the bestselling Karen Kingsbury novel, is a love story that follows a young couple, Molly Allen, who moves to small-town Tennessee for college, and country singer student Ryan Kelly [Nash]. The two meet on the first day of class and, as their relationship grows, they come across many obstacles, but the pair is shepherded to pursue their dreams by the owners of a local bookstore called the Bridge.

Wyatt was most recently seen in the breakout role of ‘Christopher’ in the Lifetime Original Movie “Petals on the Wind” [May 2014], the sequel to the smash hit “Flowers in the Attic” which garnered 9.1 total viewers. Also starring Heather Graham and Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Emmy winner Ellen Burstyn, “Petals on the Wind” was based on the second novel from the V.C. Andrews series about the Dollanganger family. The film begins ten years after the siblings have escaped the attic where their mother Corrine [Graham] and grandmother [Burstyn] kept them locked away for more than two years. Wyatt was a scene stealer as good natured yet conflicted ‘Christopher,’ after a decade he is forced to face the forbidden feelings he developed for his sister while being held in captivity.
Born and raised in country music’s capital: Nashville, Tennessee, Wyatt grew up the youngest of three siblings with aspirations of becoming a doctor, following in the footsteps of his father. His first taste of acting came through his 8th grade middle school play, where he was cast as a tree, then bumped up to a small speaking role. Throughout high school and college he continued on his path towards medical school, attending Lipscomb University and majoring in Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude. To help make ends meet in college, Wyatt took advantage of the country music scene and appeared in music videos for some of Nashville’s greatest artists. Although in his head he knew he should stay on track to become a doctor, he fell in love with being on set and wanted to follow his heart to Los Angeles. In his junior year of college he began to plot his move to LA, landed a contract with Next Model Management and in 2012 headed out west.

Wyatt quickly landed his first big acting gig; 13 episodes on Nick at Nite’s “Hollywood Heights.” He learned the ropes of being on a television series fast, appearing as the secretly sensitive, good natured jock ‘Cameron’ on the show. In 2013 Wyatt appeared on “1600 Penn” for NBC opposite Josh Gad, and “Mistresses” for ABC. He went on to book a recurring guest star on ABC Family’s smash hit series “Pretty Little Liars” opposite Keegan Allen and Tyler Blackburn. Other recent television credits include guest starring on ABC’s “Dr. Ken,” and a guest star role on FOX’s “Rake.”

When not working, Wyatt enjoys coaching cross-fit, loving the challenge it presents and the supportive environment it fosters. He is also a supporter of Children International. Wyatt is an outdoorsman, and loves camping, hiking, climbing, and anything involving adventure. When not out in nature, he enjoys reading. Some of his favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, Mark Twain, and Kurt Vonnegut, to name a few.
